We are honored and excited to announce that Delta Christian Church will be hosting the 1613 Men’s Conference on July 17–18. This regional gathering is designed to call men into deeper faith, stronger leadership, and greater purpose in Christ.

The 1613 Men’s Conference exists to challenge men to live with conviction in a culture that often pulls them in the opposite direction. Over the course of two days, attendees will experience powerful biblical teaching, authentic worship, and meaningful fellowship with other men who are seeking to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

What to Expect
The conference will include a full schedule across Friday and Saturday featuring:

• Main Sessions with dynamic speakers addressing key issues men face today
• Biblical Teaching focused on discipleship, identity in Christ, and spiritual leadership
• Worship Gatherings designed to refocus hearts on God
• Breakout Opportunities (as scheduled) for practical application and deeper discussion
• Fellowship Time to build connections with men from across the region

Topics throughout the conference will center on themes such as:

• Living boldly for Christ in everyday life
• Leading in your home, church, and community
• Pursuing holiness and integrity
• Strengthening faith in a distracted world
• Walking in accountability and brotherhood

Schedule Overview

• Friday, July 17: Dinner will be served at 5 PM and evening sessions to kick off the conference will be form 6-9PM.
• Saturday, July 18: Full day of teaching, worship, and connection will start up at 8AM and conclude at 5PM and will include a continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

The conference will feature a lineup of experienced pastors, teachers, and leaders who are passionate about calling men to a higher standard of discipleship. Each speaker brings a unique perspective and practical insight rooted in Scripture. Perspectives isn’t a course solely about world missions. It’s a study program rooted in Scripture, clarifying each believer’s remarkable opportunity to join God in His global purpose. Come and discover what God is doing worldwide and how you can be woven into His story of redemption and glory.

Perspectives is a fifteen-lesson discipleship course exploring different aspects of God’s global purpose in a multi-faceted learning experience. The course examines the story of God fulfilling His promises from four vantage points or “perspectives” — Biblical, Historical, Cultural, and Strategic. The Biblical and Historical sections establish the foundation of our confidence in the historic fact of God’s persistent work to make His name known to the nations from the dawn of history until today. The Cultural and Strategic sections highlight that we are in the midst of a costly but very “do-able” task. These sections confirm the Biblical and Historical hope we have with the invitation to co-labor with God in His mission.

Perspectives is an awe-inspiring comprehensive course that has profoundly impacted hundreds of thousands of students during the past 45+ years. From Genesis to the prophets, Jesus to the early Church, and St. Augustine to the present, students learn how God moves, how the global Church responds, and the remaining task of world evangelization.

The classes start Sunday, January 18th, 2026, 2-5 pm, at New Hope EV Free Church in Cedaredge, and will run through May 10th.  
 
This course is offered at 3 different levels.

• Key Reading: At this level there is about one hour of reading per week, and no homework.  This level also costs $275.
• Certificate:  At this level there is approximately 2 or 3 hours of reading, and a homework page to fill in each week.  The student receives a certificate at the end of the course.  We encourage this level, as you gain so much more if you do the extra reading and home work.  This level costs $275.
• Undergraduate or Graduate College credit: At this level there is more reading and homework.  Cost for the course with 3 Semester college credit with Trinity University is $550.

 
At every level, participants will hear outstanding teachers who share God’s Heart for all people, and share their personal experiences as they have worked sharing the gospel throughout the world. Every class includes activities and discussions as well as these amazing instructors.  Each Participant needs to have a copy of the Perspectives Reader 4th Edition and the accompanying Perspectives 4th Edition Study Guide.  When you register, you will receive information on ordering these books.  The coordinator has a limited number of used and new books for purchase.
 
You can register for this course at Perspectives.org.  Registration is also available on the orientation/registration night on January 18th.  Discounts are available for families ($25 per family member). There is also an early registration discount of $35 if you register by January 20th.  We also offer some scholarships as needed.
 
The first 2 classes are free so you can experience the benefits of taking this course before making a commitment.
 
In addition to the Cedaredge class, classes will be offered in Montrose on Monday nights and Grand Junction on Tuesday nights.  Information for these classes is available online.

It is that time of year again! Please consider participating in this fun way to bless a child somewhere in the world with a shoebox full of fun gifts AND the Gospel of Jesus!

Just pick up a box in the church lobby or grab your own recycled shoebox or a plastic shoebox,  and choose the age and gender you would like to give your box to (2-4 years, 5-9 years, or 10-14 years). Then pack a box with a "wow" item (a doll, a large truck, a soccer ball and pump, etc.),  personal care items such as a toothbrush, washcloth, hair brush, headbands, etc., school supplies such as pencils, notebooks, pens, colored pencils, etc., and other fun stuff like flashlight and batteries, clothing, crafts and puzzles!  Pack your box completely full!  You can also include a photo of yourself and personal note in your box.
