Jesus is all you will ever need.
The book of Colossians teaches that authentic Christianity requires Jesus plus nothing else. The Colossian church faced pressure to add special knowledge or practices to their faith, but Paul emphasized that Jesus is supreme and His work is complete. Authentic disciples inspire encouragement in others, pursue unity motivated by love, possess assurance of salvation, are trained in biblical truth, and stand firm against false teachings. Any addition to Jesus' finished work becomes false religion, while Jesus plus nothing equals everything we need for salvation and spiritual life.
