You were created to worship God... Now what?
Worship is far more than Sunday morning singing - it's expressing love to God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Every person is created to worship something, and we become like what we worship. When we worship modern idols like money, image, power, or pleasure, we become calculating, performative, controlling, or undisciplined. Jesus said that the Father seeks worshippers who worship in spirit and in truth. We are called to examine what we truly worship and choose to surrender our whole selves to God rather than the empty promises of worldly idols. When we begin to understand who God really is, the emptiness and offense of worshipping this world's lesser "gods" becomes painfully clear.
