Winning Kids to Christ and Training Them to Run the Race...

At Delta Christian Church we are committed to family, and our children's ministry is committed to helping kids and parents as they grow together in their relationships with each other and with Jesus. Everything we do has a plan and purpose with an emphasis on these relationships in mind. You can check out our ministry programs currently running and come back to see what is planned for upcoming months.

We have something for everyone -- from finding out what church is about, to learning and growing in a relationship with Jesus, we have it covered, and we would love to partner with your family in this adventure called life!

Children's Church

Sunday mornings are an important time for families -- your personal family and our church family. We want Sunday mornings to be full of fellowship, learning, encouragement, questions and answers. During our corporate service we offer two age-appropriate lesson times for kids.

In Kingdom Court, toddlers and preschoolers will have a great morning with students and adults who have dedicated their morning to kids. The lessons that are taught mirror those of older siblings, but have been written specifically for this younger age group.

In The Zone, elementary-age students meet during the adult sermon time for their own version of the lesson. Including memory verses, practice points and a bit of homework, students will leave each week with ideas to help them apply their lessons at home and school.

Kids with a King

KWAK is an after school children's musical program. We will meet at Garnet Mesa Elementary School on Mondays and Wednesdays, rehearsing from 4:15-5:15PM. KWAK is open to all children ages 4yrs - 5th grade. KWAK is free, however we do ask families to help provide snack for all kids at least once during the semester.

The KWAK performance is Saturday, December 13th at 7:00PM at Delta Christian Church.

Kids Camp
June 23rd - 26th

This summer for Kids Camp, we will be attending Camp Christian in New Castle, CO. The theme for camp is Built to Worship. Junior Camp is for kids going into 3rd-5th grade.

Packing List for Camp:

sleeping bag, pillow and extra blanket
Pajamas
Jeans and shirts
shorts
Sweat shirts/jacket
Extra socks
underwear
shoes (2 pair recommended) tennis and water shoes/shower shoes
Towel
Bible
pen or pencil
flashlight
soap/shampoo
comb or brush
toothbrush and toothpaste
Sunscreen and bug spray (hat would be good)

Fun in the Son
July 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Fun In The Son, our summer program for elementary age kids begins on Wednesday, July 9th and runs through the month of July. Fun In the Son is for all kids 4 years through 5th Grade.

Fun In The Son Registrations will be at the door, each Wednesday morning of FITS! Check-in begins at 9:40AM

The cost for FITS is $30 per child and includes each day's activities as well as a FITS T-shirt. Out of town guests, family, friends can attend FITS for $10 a day. (T-shirts can also be ordered for $10) Please check out the FITS Schedule page to see where we will be headed each day.
